Pittsburgh Blogging Tragedy
Sadly, one of Pittsburgh’s bloggers has unexpectedly died from a stroke at the all too young age of 34.
Jeff “Pghguy” Pencosky had a few blogs with Pittsburgh Bloggers over the past year or so, including his online dating blog which chronicled his experiences with dating online and in real life.
I never met Jeff in person, but I did exchange e-mails with him as he listed with our site with his various blogging incarnations. I even sent him an invite to come to the last Blogfest in May, which he said “I’m definitely aiming to be there.” He didn’t make it, so I never had the chance to meet him. I now really wish I had met the informal blogger get together he was at.

I’m stunned. I didn’t know Jeff all that well, but we traded a few emails and comments back and forth, and he seemed like a great guy. Thank you fr posting this, otherwise I might not have found out.
I was absolutely floored myself. I exchanged some e-mails with him as I said, but never had the chance to meet him. It’s a real shame.
