Have any of you seen the special where a british girl goes from British size 8 to size 4 (which equates to the infamous American size 0). She did it in 30 days, which is obviously traumatising in itself, but the aim was to see what it took to be size zero. Ultimately I thought she looked terrible. Not only did her size go down but she honestly looked ill (she was as she had a cold/flu for 2+ weeks of the the 30days because her system couldn’t fight off the infection), and her skin and hair went all weird and dry looking. She also started to become mentally disturbed and unable to sleep for more than 4 hours. I think its time people who look that bad were stopped being photographed as some ideal - we don’t photograph accident victims and try to sell them as an ideal. Why photograph someone who looks like a bad knock-off of a prop from an alien movie as an ideal??

I always wanted to see a sequel to E.T. Now at least they can make it without having to resort to CGI to bring the little guy to life…
