Have A Good Sandwich

My last entry for NaBloPoMo comes after midnight* after being recruited to assist in cleaning and deboning (oh, so kinky) deer meat.  Tenderloin.  Jerky.  Steaks.  Football Roast.** All kinds of delicious things.  My responsibility?  Not unlike a PennDot worker, I was responsible for supervising and logistics.  Bagging and double bagging meat with labels and such.  I learned quite a bit about the anatomy of deer remains and what to look for (and not look for) in cleaning your dead animal flesh.  My reward?  Steaks and tenderloin.

That combined with an exciting first day for WearPittsburgh, which saw a wonderful mention on WDVE courtesy of Lindsay at I Heart Pittsburgh (iheartpgh.com) and all sorts of awesome things:  The e-mails, phone calls, support, and comments/suggestions are so appreciated.  It made me feel so great about what’s been done, and what is yet to come.

So, with December here I leave NaBloPoMo behind.  While it will bring less blogging, I don’t think I can ever return to the vast periods of inactive time for this blog.  To all those who have commented and been pushing me on, you have my thanks.

* The post is dated November 30th at 11:59PM.  I did that to just keep things clean.  I know… lies!

** I don’t believe this is a standard hunting/cleaning term, but I love it anyway.
