Sandwiches Can Be Lethal
From the overdue department, this gem was sent to me last week from the mighty Bill Toland at the PG:
A fight between cousins over a cheese sandwich at the
Manitowoc County Jail left one inmate dead and another charged with
murder, according to a criminal complaint filed in the case.
Cousins? A cheese sandwich? JAIL? Now, all those combined are the perfect storm of ridiculousness. The money shot sentence:
An autopsy shows Jaimes died of blunt force head trauma, according to
the complaint.
Ah, my good ol’ fantasy football name… when not in the blogger fantasy league, that is.
The kicker for this lethal cheese sandwich melee? The location it takes place: MANITOWOC
Now, was this a fried cheese sandwich, or just some cheese on wonder bread? If there was a pan involved in the making, and maybe a pickle on the side, I can start understanding the blood lust a little better…

I’m with Frank, if that’s a grilled swiss cheese sandwich with a little mayo on wheat bread, that’s totally justifiable homicide.
