Believe It Or Not
From the “too much 80’s awesomeness for words” category, it’s been announced that The Greatest American Hero is being made into a movie.
Stephen J. Cannell, creator of the cult ’80s TV series The Greatest American Hero, confirmed to fans that a feature film is in the works.
“We’ve written a screenplay, and we’ve hired a director, and we’re in the midst of putting this together for the future,” Cannell told an audience in Hollywood on Sept. 7 at the Screen Actors Guild’s 25th-anniversary reunion.
This was one of my favorite TV shows growing up, and always thought it would be cool to get a superhero suit from aliens.
But the fact that it would need an instruction book?
Come on… that’s just ludicrous.

I wont rest until the show Sledge Hammer is made into a movie.
OMG, I loved this show AND I loved Sledgehammer. I smell a cross over.
I absolutely loved that show and the A-Team, also a Stephen J. Cannell creation I believe. I was in high school and had a crush on William Kaat — I was 14. Apparently because my aunt at one time hade a crush on his dad when she was younger. He was an actor, too. William Kaat, my crush, was the only reason I ever watch the recreated version of Perry Mason with Ironsides. Robert Culp was great in GAH, too.
Is it officially official now? I knew it was talked about, but that’s as far as it had gotten. My hubby’s going to be SOO happy to hear. He loved that show. I only remember the theme song.
