I’m sure there’s a book out there from the Chicken Soup for the Soul people or even those that wrote the Things I Ever Really Needed to Know Blah Blah Blah that has some of the following thoughts in it- but I’ve really come to the conclusion that infants really have the basics worked out on how to lead a life.
- Enjoy sleep.
- Play hard.
- There is a time and a place for pants – just not that often.
- Be curious, inquisitive, and take risks.
- Test limits.
- Smile.
- Smile some more.
- It’s OK to cry sometimes. Just don’t over do it.
- Do as much as possible to stay naked for as long as possible. (Hell, adults /still/ keep this one on speed dial)
- Love your parents.
- Focus when you need to.
- Take nothing for granted.
- Be happy.
Obviously, there are some tips you don’t want to take from ye ole infant for life – like pooping on the floor and doing the raspberry with a mouthful of food.
Those are more for college.

Dynamite post. Can’t wait to see what else you learn from her.
Also, “The cuter you are, the more stuff you can get away with.”
Excellent post!
See, THIS is why you can’t quit. Great list!
