Sole Possession of Nineteenth Place

This past week has been a very crowded one at the Sandwich, with little time to breathe let alone anything else. Lots of things going on. Good things. Great things.

I have not thanked the good peeps over at Sportsocracy for inviting me into their “Celebrity” Blogger NCAA Final Tournament. A flattering monicker to be sure and not applicable for me, but much more deserving for many of my other colleagues in the tournament.

After the first round, I am proud to say that I am in sole possession of nineteenth place. I do love Final Four pools, and am in four of them (including Sportsocracy). George Washington was my sleeper pick to move through the ranks, but our Founding Father’s troops couldn’t muster an appearance out of the first round let alone make it to the Sweet Sixteen.

Tennessee just beat Virginia, so that bodes well for my bracket. Good luck to all in the tourney.
